  • GavinDegraw:  The singer was taken by ambulance to Bellevue Hospital after being assaulted Sunday night. Singer Gavin DeGraw was taken to a hospital in New York on Sunday night after being assaulted, his representative confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter DeGraw, best known for his mid-2000s hit "I do not want to be," was brought to the emergency room of Bellevue Hospital by ambulance after the attack. Her representative said DeGraw is still under observation, but gave no details on the attack, or state. TMZ, which first reported the incident, said the singer, who is a resident of New York was attacked by several assailants. Meanwhile, the New York Times cites sources DeGraw message that was drinking with a group of friends before leaving them behind and was attacked at a time 3:50 to 4:20 in the 1st Street and 6th Avenue. His nose was broken, and he also suffered cuts to his face, a result of the attack, the sources do not think it was a robbery. He then continued to walk and then hit a taxi, but not seriously, according to Post. DeGraw is currently on tour with Maroon 5 and the train, with a show scheduled for Tuesday in Saratoga Springs, New York, and another on Friday at Jones Beach Theater.
